ROBERTO PAOLI
Roberto Paoli is a famous Italian architect born in Ancon in 1969. Es studied architecture at the University of Florence, where he graduated in 1994. After his studies he dedicated to design product and he began working with Fellowes and Fiamitalia. In 2002 he opened his own practice in Milan. From this period dates the collaboration with Tucano, in which he has been engaged as Art director from 2002 to 2012. For Tucano he designed the line of bags and accessories for notebooks and computers. In 2008 he planned for this brand the corporate headquarters in Milan and a flagship Store in New York. Roberto Paoli’s practice not only takes care of design and architecture, but it also develops projects for homes, showrooms, shops and exhibition stands. In 2007 he changed his practice’s name into “Seminato Mercadante”, which als became the name of his own line of objects. Today Roberto Paoli cooperates with famous Italian and foreigner brands, such as Artemide, Ligne Roset, Fiamitalia, Nemo, Leucos, Bonaldo, Slide and TVS. Among his numerous prizes we’d like to remember the Adi Design Index in 2009. Between 2009 and 2011 Roberto Paoli has won four times the Good Design Award and, in 2014 it has been the winner of the Interior Innovation Award with the realization of the “Tru” lamp.
